The Salvadoran American Chamber of Commerce of New York (SALCONY), Nassau County’s Coordinating Agency for Spanish Americans (C.A.S.A.), and Health Plus celebrated for the first time the Immigrant's Heritage Day this past Saturaday April 17, 2010 at the Coordinated Agency for Spanish Americans premises.The Immigration seminar was early in the afternoon on the lower level where hundreds of people looking for information on immigration issues were present. Among the facilitators were Mr. Brandon Cruz, Esq. of the Bongiorno Law Firm, Mr. Christian Duffoo of AELA, and David Sperling, Esq. The exposition lasted for 90 minutes.
After the seminars, there was a ceremony of recognition to different individuals and entities who have endlessly work for the hispanic community. Such recognition was by SALCONY, the County of Nassau, and the Town of Hempstead. Among the honorees were:

La Camara Salvadorena Americana de New York (SALCONY), la Agencia Coordinadore de Hispano Americanos (Coordinating Agency for Spanish Americans, C.A.S.A.), y Health Plus celebraron por vez primera el Dia de la Herencia del Inmigranteeste pasado sabado 17 de abril, 2010en las instalaciones de C.A.S.A.
El seminario de inmigracion fue temprano en la tarde en el sotano donde cientos de interesados se hicieron presente. Entre los expositores estuvieron el Sr. Brandon Cruz, Esq. de la Oficina de Abogados Bongiorno, el Sr. Christian Duffoo de AELA, y David Sperling, Esq. El seminario duro 90 minutos.
Despues de los seminarios hubo ceremonia de reconocimiento para las personas y entidades que han trabajado sin fin para la comunidad Hispana. El reconocimiento fue dado por SALCONY, el Condado de Nassau, y el Town de Hempstead. Entre los reconocidos estuvieron:
